Drive to Atlantis - Palm Jumeirah

In the cool December evening when we were out for a drive, Daddy kept driving... driving..... & driving & we reached Palm Jumeirah. Then we decided to go n visit the Atlantis.Do you remember the huge aquarium that we saw??? Will surely go again when you grow up, its a promise!

Chilling evening walks.... Remember we had taken you to Qanat-Al Qasba. We really enjoyed a lot there. The ride on the 'eye of Emirates'was amazing...

1st Diwali in Oct 2008

It was your first Diwali. We couldnt celebrate but still we were togather.......... wasnt that a great treat!!!

Hahahaha........ My sweet little froggy... It was so easy to make you sleep before. Wont believe I used to leave you on the sofa and I dint had to bother if you would fall. But now!!!!!!!!!!!!! the bed that I've put for you also seems small... hehehehe...

One early October morning Mumtaj aunty gave you a fresh massage n hot water bath. You looked very happy that day, what was the matter???? hmmm.... You dint even cry during massage and bathing time. Mumtaj aunty was also very happy to see you like that.

1st Month Memories

Daddy would never like to keep you down. Look how he use to take you in the balcony for some sunlight. Nani was also with us, waiting for Nanu to join too.

We had to prepare a passport for you. So we were doing a small photosession of u... ;-D
And guess what!!! you were smiling at the camera. You were only 15 days old then. We also had to take ur finger print, was fun doing tat.

You looked so different everytime I saw you. I love this pic of yours (though you look very dark) you were lying down in such a cute pose.

The Namesake

Now we had to register your name. It was so difficult to select a name for you. We had smsed everybody to suggest a good name. The alphabet that was given to us by an astrologer was "VE" and we thought we will go with Vedika.... But few found the name outdated. Then Nanu told that we can also think of some name with "Ä" and then we started all over again for names starting with A. One afternoon I was watching TV and suddenly I just asked Daddy and Nani how is the name Anushka and bot of them liked it very much. With no futher thoughts Daddy went to registration office and registered your name as Anushka Bharath Jeppu :-)

Thats how you got your name. The same year there was movie with a new actress and her name was also Anushka :) you became famous amongst friends.

I specially made a Name card to send accross to everybody.
